About Plitvice
Plitvice lies inland between Zagreb and the Dalmatian coast, which makes it a natural stop on the drive between the two as well as a day trip in its own right.
The park is walked in marked routes of different lengths, combining boardwalks, a shuttle bus and an electric boat across the largest lake. Each season looks different: high water and green in spring, warm and busy in summer, and colour through October.
